✅ 1. Common Uses of N2O

Food-grade nitrous oxide is widely used in the food & beverage industry for:

  • Whipping cream (with cream whippers)

  • Infusing juices or cocktails (nitro-style)

  • Molecular gastronomy (foams, rapid infusions, pickling)

  • Creating flavored foams or enhancing textures

⚙️ 2. Basic Equipment Needed

You’ll Need:

  1. Cream whipper (mosa whipped cream dispenser)

  2. N2O charger – small 8g/8.5g cream charger or 0.95L/3.3L large tanks

  3. Pressure regulator or compatible valve (for larger tanks)

  4. Ingredients – cream, juice, syrup, fruit purée, etc.

🪛 3. How to Use (Cream Whipper Example)

  1. Add Ingredients
Pour your mixture (e.g., heavy cream, sweetener, vanilla) into the bottle.

  2. Seal the Bottle
Securely screw on the head of the cream whipper.

  3. Charge with N₂O

    • Small chargers: Insert an 8g N₂O cartridge into the holder and screw it in to release gas.

    • Large tanks (0.95L): Use a suitable(such as whipbester n2o tank) regulator to slowly release gas into the whipper (never exceed recommended pressure).

  4. Shake Gently
Shake a few times to evenly mix gas and ingredients.

  5. Dispense or Refrigerate
Hold the bottle upside down and press the lever to release your whipped or foamed product. Store in the fridge if needed.

🧽 4. Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean your whipper and nozzle after every use.

  • Hand wash the bottle with warm water and mild detergent (dishwasher not recommended).

  • Check seals and gaskets regularly; replace if worn out.
